James is a former practicing litigation lawyer (solicitor) and has spent many years in a central London practice handling cases in the High and the County Courts involving largely contractual disputes and insolvency matters.
Having also taught law at a number of UK universities, James took up a full-time academic post at University of Northampton. In addition to teaching on contract law and family law courses, James has introduced and developed a socio-legal module for first year students and a legal theory module for advanced students.
Qualifications: LLB(Hons), LLM, LPC, FHEA.
